KPUB BBQ Restaurant is definitely a haven for Korean Pop (KPop)  lovers! This KPop concept Korean barbecue restaurant  is one of the unique conceptual restaurants you can find in Metro Manila. Aside from the fact that it has a meat-all-you-can menu where you can gobble up as much meat as you want ranging from pork, beef, chicken and seafood, you also get to experience a KPop experience, right here in the Philippines as you indulge in Korean delicacies!

KPUB BBQ Meat all you can

I was surprised the place wasn’t jam-packed for the New Year’s Eve.

My fiancé and I went to KPUB BBQ Taguig branch last New Year’s Eve for dinner. KPUB BBQ Bonifacio Global City Taguig branch is a very memorable place for us. It is one of the restaurants that we used to dine at when we first started dating. I am huge fan of Korean barbecue. It is probably because I watched too much Korean dramas. Haha. 😂

With all the the bright colorful lights, I’m sure you wouldn’t be able to miss it!

KPub four (4) meat-all-you-can sets to choose from, prices ranging from Php 499 to Php 1499. When we visited, they had a promo price for all four sets, but it wasn’t indicated until when the promo ends.

Here’s the promo prices ~
Set A – Eat and Run: Php 899 + > Php 499+ (Unlimited for 1 hour)
Set B – Eat and Run Level Up: Php 1,199 + > Php 699+  (Unlimited for 1 hour)
Set C – No Limits: Php 1,399 + > Php 899+  (Unlimited offer)
Set D – To The Max: Php 1,499 + > Php 999+  (Unlimited for 2 hours)

kpub bbq meat all you can soup

I love their soup! A mix of spicy and salty flavors. I literally ordered 5 bowls of their soup!

A few of the side dishes on his side

It took us a while to decide which set to take. We definitely passed on Set A and B because of the one (1)  hour limit. Dining in  a rush and getting indigestion afterwards is definitely not our thing. We chose between Set C and D, and in the end, Set C won!

Side dishes on my side

All of these sets includes soup, salad and several other Korean side dishes, which of course includes kimchi. Though their kimchi wasn’t really anything special. However, the soup is to die for and we ordered 3 additional sets of the other side dishes! Happy tummy indeed ~ 😆

Crispy Fried Squid, or what Filipinos normally calls Calamares

There are still a lot of side dishes that I wasn’t able to take a photo of. These photos were taken before we started dining. Doesn’t the table look quite neat? A typhoon went over our table during our meal and trust me, the table looked opposite of how it is in the photos when we left. Haha! 😂

And here comes the main entrée, the meat!

We ordered one of each type of meat right after we told them which set we wanted. And I was quite disappointed with the quantity of their meat for each plate. We ordered two and three more rounds afterwards.

I couldn’t differentiate the cooked ones from the uncooked ones. Hehe.

My fiancé and I both don’t know how to cook, so we had to ask the waiters to cook the meat for us. Their service was really exemplary. Service was quick and they immediately responded to our every requests. I’m not sure if it is because the General Manager was in the house that night. Nevertheless, thumbs up on the service!

Listen to KPop music while you dine

Notice why my photos are all so dark? That’s because they have a stage and a huge screen above it that shows KPop music videos while the customers dine. They sometimes have a live band as well but I’m not really sure with the schedule. I had tried dining here with a live band and the music was so loud that the waiters couldn’t hear me calling them, so I prefer dining at KPub BBQ when there ain’t no live band.

Overall, the experience was great! We watched a lot of Korean dramas online so we can relate to the Kpop music being played in the background. The service, as I have said early, is a 10 over 10. However, the food was quite average.  The taste wasn’t anything special. It is worth visiting if you love Kpop. There is a Kpop showroom on the second floor. 😉

This looks really good! Sounds like a fun environment, too! I can understand the small portions, I hope they do that so they don’t waste food!

I’ve seen this before but never had the time to really indulge. Now that I’ve read your review, I’ll go there during lunchtime so that I can eat a lot. It looks yummy and just like you, I love Korean food now coz I’ve watched too much Korean drama.

Awesome! I’m not really a Kpop fan but i would love to try the food out. The place looks great! And the promo prices are quite reasonably. Maybe try it out when I’m in the area! ☺

Oooh I’d been dying to try its branch here in Cebu!!! After I watch k-dramas where they go on large consumptions of eating bulgogi (ehem, My Girlfriend is a Gumiho, haha!). I immediately get cravings. Good thing the buffet here in Cebu has lowered its rates! I can’t wait to set a date to visit KPub in its newly-opened restaurant here ;)

I used to have many Korean friends, back when I lived in Boracay. Some of them would invite me over to their place during the weekends and cook. I also know some of the Korean restaurant owners, so I have a good idea of how Korean food should be like. Eat all you can is nice, but all Korean restaurants should only have the appetizers (unlimited) as eat all you can as standards. Anything else, such as a buffet, is a guarantee that the quality of the (meat, in this case) will not be the best. It’s just the way it is.

Whenever I look at Korean food, the first that comes to mind is Sam Gyop Sal. It is my all time favorite Korean dish and it also happens to be the easiest to prepare. All it needs are high quality meat that is not so fatty. Kasi diba there are some pork that smells like pork.

I passed by this place when we went to Prive 2-3 years ago. I got curious about this establishment since Korean stuff were a a huge thing back then. I wish I was able to try their stuff. I really love their ambiance.

I find this as an interesting place to dine with girlfriends. I doubt if my kids would love to.share some korean food and korean telenovelas with theor mom, and same with their dad. Sad though that the food is just average. Often, we go back to a place because of its food. But I hope there will improve on it.

Been there last week. It’s a nice place, the manager and his staff are friendly. I noticed that it’s a place for family occasions. The group who went there last Saturday which happened to be Chinese New Year are families.

Your post gave me nostalgia. My BF and I also dated back then before at the exact branch for a New Year’s date. We were away from each other for a month back then and dating there felt so amazing. Anyway, I agree that choosing A or B is not worth getting indigestion for. Cooking the meat certainly takes a while along with it being served. I like how they added more variety to their side dishes.
