I went to the opening day of the new branch of Landers Superstore in Otis two days ago because I had a really great time shopping at their first branch in Balintawak last month. Because of work, I arrived there at 8pm already, just an hour before closing. Landers Superstore is a membership superstore that sells a variety of imported and local merchandises, which includes electronics, apparel, health and beauty products, pastries, fresh meat and vegetables, organic food, cleaning supplies, and other grocery items. They also have a diner and a coffee shop just outside the shopping area. In their Balintawak branch, they even have a barber shop there! As for their interiors, I really like how bright their lights are and how modern the area looks. They also have two or three counters reserved for senior citizens and pregnant women. To shop there, you have to get a premium or personal membership card which costs P800 annually, or you can get an extension from your family or friend who’s already a member there, it will only costs you P400. As for me, I got my premium membership for only P400 because they had a buy one take one promo a few months ago, so I shared the fee with my co-worker and gave the extension to my sister.
Here are some of the products in Landers Superstore that caught my eye:
I enjoy munching snacks both at home and at work so these pretzels and chocolate biscuits are perfect for me!
I love yogurt so I wished I could’ve bought all of it. Too bad though, because I know I wouldn’t be able to finish them.
Can’t forget about the ice cream! Especially if it’s a Cadburry! I found some wine ice cream in their Balintawak branch so I was hoping to buy some here. Unfortunately, they currently don’t sell them in their Otis branch.
Aaahh, macaroni and cheese paired with a hot chocolate drink, a perfect meal for breakfast! Or midnight snack if you’re anything like me. ;)
They have a wide variety of spices, like curry powder and cinnamon, all in bottle form.
We also bought some chicken, pork, beef, and a whole lot of seafood, mostly bangus because my mom likes it. :)
My mom continued looking around and my little brother started playing a game on his phone…
While I was stuck waiting for our turn in the long line doing nothing because my phone died. I was also planning to buy some food in their diner before we head out but the line was too long. :(
By the way, a premium membership can only give one extension membership. On the other hand, a business membership may avail of four extension memberships, but it is more expensive than the premium and it is for sole proprietorships, corporations, and the like. The annual fee for business membership is P1000, while the four extension membership is P400 each. They currently have a 20% off promo in their membership applications, both premium and business, if you’re interested in getting one.
